Contributing to continuity

Education is full of transition points, from early childhood services through to secondary school, and these moments can be critical for children's learning. Poorly supported transitions - whether moving from preschool to school, between classrooms, or from primary to secondary - can disrupt continuity and widen existing equity gaps. Children experience changes in what is taught, what is valued, and how learning is measured, and inconsistent support can leave some struggling to keep up.
